What are cookies? 

Cookies are small data or text files that websites place on your local computer, tablet, smartphone or other mobile device. Such cookies can have different purposes: you have essential (temporary) cookies, preference cookies (e.g. for language settings) and tracking cookies (cookies that track and track your behaviour on the website in order to provide you with a more optimal user experience).

Type of cookies 

Essential cookies 

These cookies are required as a minimum for the website to function properly. You do not have to give permission for this.

  • Expire: End of session
  • Content: String of characters
  • Purpose: Links authenticated user requests to the session

  • Expire: 365 days

Analytical cookies 

We consult the user statistics of our website via Google Analytics. For this purpose, a number of cookies are loaded when you visit the site. These cookies enable us to check how many visitors consult our website and collect certain demographic data (e.g. country of origin). We keep track of your IP address. The data is also kept for a period of 50 months. 

Tracking cookies 

Tracking cookies track visits to the website in order to build up a profile of website visitors. This enables them to optimise the website or display advertisements tailored to your needs. Tracking cookies are not necessary for the proper functioning of a website. 

Social Media cookies 

On certain pages we show some social media 'buttons' that allow you as a user to further distribute these messages via your personal social media channel. These are loaded using a number of cookies.
